Actor Emeka Okoye has broken down in tears after he was surprised by his colleague Toyin Abraham at her “1 Billion Geng” celebration party hosted by FilmOne.
The event, held on Thursday, marked the success of Abraham’s film Oversabi Aunty.
During the party, Toyin sprayed Emeka with money as a show of appreciation for his support and promotion of the movie. The gesture showed Emeka visibly shocked and moved Okoye to tears.
Publicly thanking Toyin and her fans on Friday, Emeka shared a photo of the actress on his Instagram page with a note of gratitude.
He wrote: “Bestie Jesu. @toyin_abraham may God almighty bless you and the works of your hands , may he crown always the hardwork you put in every project you do in success God has started his works , he will continue to do more. Am speechless, Thank you so much for Everything. Am grateful. And to Everyone who I owe gratitude, I say Thank you once again. TOYINTITANS. Thank you.” Abraham replied, “Love u so much.”
Emeka also shared screenshots of other fans and colleagues sending him money following the event.
Oversabi Aunty, written, produced, and starring Emeka, achieved major box office success, crossing the N1 billion mark. The film became the first Nollywood directorial debut to reach that milestone and ranks among the highest‑earning films in the industry’s history.
