Gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan on Saturday celebrated his 38th birthday two months after surviving a car accident.
Dunsin posted a photo of himself on Twitter with an appreciation message.
He wrote: “Thank You JESUS for another Year! Mercy found me, Saved me, Kept me. Praise God for A New Season is here!!!”
Fellow celebrities and fans wished him a happy birthday in the comment section of his post.
In September, 2022, Dunsin survived a car crash along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, three years after the death of his wife Dotun.
It was gathered that a crew member suffered minor injuries, but everyone survived the accident.
Speaking on the incident while ministering on Saturday night, Dunsin said he took a nap and woke up to realise that the Toyota Prado he was travelling in was under a trailer.
“The devil tried everything not to make me come here today. If you saw the accident scene that I came out of you can never believe that I walked out alive.
“To think we were coming here, and I said let me sleep a bit so that I can be refreshed for the meeting and the next thing. I just knew we were somewhere, and the jeep had gone under the trailer,” he said in parts.
