Singer Duncan Mighty, has responded to the interview Charity Nwakanma, his ex-mother-in-law granted on allegations that they were threatening his life.
The 37-year-old in an Instagram post on Tuesday shared a screenshot of BBC Pigin’s headline of the interview.
He said he had forgotten about the issues but she went ahead to grant interviews.
Duncan also released the alleged confession his ex-wife Vivian Nwakanma made.
“Even when I have forgotten about the things you did to me most especially for the fact that my recovery and healing is assured through the help of Jesus.
“Just because you exposed the public disgrace in rumuokurusi after a police officer saved you. Instead of your mum to play the role of a mother, you and your mum now went to @bbcnewspigin and @nigeriainfoph to grant lies and deceit,” he wrote.
Duncan Mighty first alleged threat to his life from his estranged in-laws on December 3, 2020.
He narrated the story of how his estranged wife allegedly confessed that her family had sought help in getting rid of him to take possession of his property.
But Nwakanma, told Punch in an interview published on December 5 that neither her nor her family members were interested in the singer’s property as he claimed.
Nwakama in an interview with BBC Pidgin in December 2020, said Duncan’s post exposed him for who he is.
“We are aware of the social media post. If someone calls you a goat will you answer the person? Is your name a goat? So you will not answer them! So whatever he says is not what we did so we won’t answer him because I am not a goat and I did not do any of those things he wrote.
“And if you read his statement, what he wrote there, you will see that he revealed who he is and where he was going to. He already said he is fetish yet he is saying another person is fetish. Go back to read that his post, you will see what he wrote concerning himself,” she said.
Meanwhile, Duncan and his estranged wife have three children together.
