Actress Doris Ogala has said she will take legal action against Pastor Chris Okafor, accusing him of breaking a promise to marry her.
Doris made the declaration during a live interview, where she spoke about her past relationship with the pastor and the pain she said it has caused her. She said she has evidence and plans to involve her lawyer soon.
She said in part:
“I am suing Chris because he promised me marriage and that’s a crime in the law; he left me for another woman. I have proof, I have evidence. He’ll hear from my lawyer very soon.”
Doris also admitted the relationship started while she was still married, and said she had been in contact with the pastor for years. She described parts of the connection in her interview.
The actress has not only threatened legal action over the broken marriage promise. In past years she also publicly accused the pastor of owing her money and threatening her, claims that were widely circulated online.
Social media has been active with reactions to Doris’ interview. A video of her emotional discussion with media personality Daddy Freeze has trended widely as people discuss the allegations and the video of Okafor’s engagement to another woman that reportedly sparked her response.
Pastor Chris Okafor, who leads Grace Nation Bible Ministry, has not made a public comment on Ogala’s latest claims as of publishing time.
