Actress Doris Ogala has apologised to comedian Akpororo after threatening to release intimate videos of him.
In a post on Instagram, Doris said her comments were made in anger and may have caused misunderstanding.
She wrote:
“I tender my sincere apology to Akporo. Whatever I said was said in anger. Any misconception it must have caused, please find it in your heart to forgive.”
The conflict began after Akpororo commented on Doris’s public feud with cleric Chris Okafor, founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries. Akpororo advised her to take the dispute off social media and resolve it privately, saying criticisms against Okafor were largely because he is a pastor. He also warned that overexposing the matter online made Doris appear to be overreacting.
Doris responded that Akpororo did not understand the seriousness of her situation and had no right to tell her how to handle it. She said speaking publicly was necessary for her safety and accused him of hypocrisy, suggesting his advice was influenced by benefits he had received from Okafor. She also threatened to expose alleged past misconduct involving women if he continued interfering.
Akpororo replied, challenging her to share the video she referred to and dismissed her claims, denying any wrongdoing.
The dispute adds to Doris Ogala’s wider controversy with Pastor Okafor, which began in late 2025. Doris has made allegations against him, including claims of misconduct and being drugged at a Lagos hotel, which she says left her unconscious. Okafor has denied parts of the allegations but apologised publicly, and Doris said she forgave him while disputing his claims of falsehood.
