Actress Dayo Amusa has issued a warning to her colleague Lizzy Anjorin after a fresh online clash erupted following her son’s first birthday celebration.
Dayo, who welcomed her baby boy last year, threw a star-studded party to mark his first year. The celebration went viral after video clips showed Dayo, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, and others dancing while viewers claimed the band’s lyrics contained subtle digs at Lizzy.
Reacting via Instagram Live, Lizzy accused Dayo and Iyabo of disrespect, claiming the performance was a deliberate slight against her.
In response, Dayo sent a fiery voice note now circulating widely online, warning Lizzy to stay away from her child.
She said, “I don’t want to have issues with you. We both are parallel lines that can never meet. We are not friends. You called me out after I delivered my baby. You also said you wanted to visit me and the baby, but I declined honorably because of your fracas stuff. Let this be the last time in your entire life that you will ever mention my baby’s name in your video. I don’t joke with my child. If you try it again, my reaction will be outside social media and you will not like it. Stay on your lane and respect yourself. Don’t use my child for your video shenanigans, if not, people will feel pity for you by the time I am done with you. I don’t ever want to have anything to do with you.”
Dayo explained that she responded via Instagram DM because she did not have Lizzy’s contact number, just as Lizzy had reached out previously to congratulate her after the birth of her son.
The feud has sparked heated debates online, with fans divided. While some praise Dayo for defending her child, others warn that public spats among Nollywood stars often escalate quickly.
