Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has explained why reuniting with his ex-wife Michelle Jackson is no longer an option.
The 43-year-old stated this on X after a fan urged him to reconcile with Michelle.
Responding to the appeal, Don Jazzy wrote, “She don remarry.”
The comment, posted a day before his birthday, surprised many followers who had long hoped the former couple might reconnect someday. His reply, however, made it clear that the possibility no longer exists.
Don Jazzy first shocked fans in 2021 when he revealed he was once married at the age of 20 to UK-based model and writer Michelle Jackson.
The marriage lasted two years before ending, a breakup he attributed to prioritising music over family. He described Michelle as his “best friend” and said he took responsibility for the collapse of the union.
Michelle has since remarried, confirming in interviews that she has fully moved on with her life.
Don Jazzy, on the other hand, has said repeatedly that he is not in a hurry to remarry, noting in previous interviews that he is still working on himself and does not want to repeat past mistakes.
The producer remains focused on expanding Mavin Records and developing the young artistes under his label. His latest comment closes the door on any hopes of a romantic reunion with his ex-wife.
