Music executive Don Jazzy has responded to a social media user who claimed that his former wife divorced him because he could not have children.
The exchange took place on X, where a user suggested that the producer’s marriage ended due to infertility issues. Don Jazzy replied directly, writing, “i been dey find you to borrow me sperm that year o.”
The response quickly gained attention online, with many users interpreting it as a sarcastic dismissal of the claim.
Don Jazzy has previously spoken about his marriage history. In 2021, he revealed that he married Michelle Jackson when he was 20 years old and that the marriage lasted about two years.
He explained at the time that his focus on building his music career put strain on the relationship and contributed to their separation. He said the decision to end the marriage was mutual.
The Mavin Records founder later said he was not considering reconciling with his ex wife and confirmed that she had since remarried.
Michelle Jackson, who is based in the United Kingdom, acknowledged Don Jazzy’s comments when they first became public and thanked those who reached out to her. She indicated there was no hostility between them.
