Celebrity disc jockey DJ Cuppy on Saturday departed Dubai, UAE to join the #EndSARS protests in Lagos.
Born Ifeoluwa Otedola, Cuppy announced on Twitter that she was inspired by the young people involved in the protest.
“Finally able fly to Lagos and join the #EndSars protest. 🇳🇬✊🏾. So inspired by all the young people out there risking their lives to amplify awareness. See you soon!” she said.
The 27-year-old had on Friday made her first contribution to the protest saying, “I would be lying if I said I’m DIRECTLY affected by SARS. But a lot of my Cupcakes are and that’s enough for me to care…”
Cuppy also apologised for taking long to react to the protest.
