Desola Afod has addressed rumours that her marriage to actor Kunle Afod is in crisis.
The 43-year-old shared a video on her Instagram page showing herself and Kunle together, reassuring fans that all is well between them.
Speculation about a possible marital problem began last week after the couple made cryptic posts and were not seen together in public for several days. Some reports also claimed that Desola had moved out of their home and was living in a hotel, while others claimed that Kunle was struggling emotionally because of the alleged breakup.
In her post, Desola promised supporters that she would not let them down. She wrote: “I will never disappoint you all 😊 Never 👎 Oju oni tiwa lailai🙏 @kunleafod + @desolaafod 💯♥️.”
Kunle previously shared his own messages in recent posts. In one, he appeared to reflect on personal effort and moving forward, writing:
“Wanting the best for myself
God knows that have really tried…
But since we are still alive we keep striving.”
He later added another message to thank fans for their concern:
“Thank you all for the calls and messages
I really appreciate
All is well.”
In a separate message, Kunle acknowledged that life’s challenges affect everyone but did not confirm any breakdown in his marriage.
Kunle and Desola have had public ups and downs over the years. In 2022, Desola once announced a separation from Kunle on social media, but that later gave way to reconciliation.
