Singer D’banj has surprised his colleague Slimcase with a brand new car reportedly valued at about N65 million.
The presentation was captured in a video shared on Slimcase’s Instagram page on Friday.
In the clip, D’banj handed over the car keys to a smiling Slimcase and said, “Congratulations, that is your car.”
Expressing his gratitude, Slimcase wrote on social media that he did not know how to start his message, but he thanked God for blessing him with D’banj, whom he called a legend and a hero.
He said he was happy to receive a brand new car worth 65 million naira and to be a brand ambassador of the associated brand. He added, “God bless u and bless the work of ur hand sir POWERFULLY BANGA LEE!!!! may u go all the days of ur life.”
Slimcase also thanked the CREAM Platform and Sterling Bank, noting that the gift made him proud to be part of the ambassadorial deal connected to the platform.
D’banj has been active in the Nigerian music industry since the early 2000s and is known for hits such as Oliver Twist.
Slimcase gained fame with his single ‘Oshozondi’ in 2017 and has collaborated with several major Nigerian artists.
