Davido’s manager Asa Asika has tied the knot with his partner Leona Adesanya in a church ceremony in London days after holding a lavish traditional wedding in Lagos.
A video from the church wedding surfaced online on Tuesday, showing the couple exchanging vows in the presence of family and friends.
Asa was seen in a black suit while Leona wore a white wedding gown.
Before the church ceremony, Asa and Leona held their traditional wedding on May 17 in Lagos.
The star-studded event was attended by several celebrities including Asa’s longtime associate Davido who played an active role as one of the groomsmen.
The singer, who previously revealed he saw Asa’s engagement ring before the proposal, was captured helping Asa dress up, dancing with him and even shedding a few emotional tears during the ceremony.
He later described the moment as “a beautiful day” in a post on Instagram.
Videos from the traditional wedding showed Asa and Leona dressed in rich Yoruba and Igbo attire, reflecting the union of their two cultural backgrounds.
Asa proposed to Leona, the daughter of oil magnate Leno Adesanya, in September 2024.
Their pre-wedding photos released earlier this year stirred excitement among fans and industry insiders.
Asa Asika, born in 1990, is the co-founder of The Plug and has managed Davido’s career since they reunited in 2017.
He was previously in a relationship with disc jockey DJ Cuppy.
The two dated on and off between 2018 and 2020 before going their separate ways.
