Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats star Davido, has praised her husband for being supportive of her ambitions.
In an interview, Chioma said Davido has always encouraged her to pursue her goals.
“David cares a lot about my dreams. I’ve faced a lot of challenges over time, but he would always ask me, ‘Chi, apart from all of this, what do you actually want to do?’ then we would have plans and have stuffs coming out in the next few months. He really cares about my personal dreams,” she said.
Her statement drew reactions from social media users.
One said: “Nah Chioma and Davido make me believe say true love exists.”
Another commented: “Davido isn’t a bad husband fr… treats her well, she’s a happy woman with him… wish them a long and happy marriage.”
One wrote: “And some unfortunate broke set of ladies were shaming her to leave because he cheated. She is married now with kids and those werey are definitely galavanting from d*ck to d*ck waiting for one unfortunate man to prey on.”
Davido and Chioma’s white wedding will take place on Sunday, at The Havana in Miami.
The couple had their traditional wedding at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, in June 2024. The event was attended by dignitaries including former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
