Davido, Ayra Starr join global stars on Angélique Kidjo’s Hope album

Music stars Davido and Ayra Starr will feature on Grammy-winning singer Angélique Kidjo’s new album, Hope, set to be released on April 24.

The album brings together a wide range of international and African artistes, reflecting Kidjo’s signature blend of African roots and global sounds.

Other collaborators include American producer and singer Pharrell Williams, Grammy-winning guitarist Nile Rodgers, rapper Quavo, as well as artists from Europe like Florent Pagny, Dadju, Fally Ipupa, Brazilian singer Iza, PJ Morton, Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platnumz, Nigerian highlife duo The Cavemen and the Soweto Gospel Choir from South Africa.

Kidjo shared the news on social media, writing:

“5 years in the making: my new album HOPE!! is coming out on April 24th. I put my whole heart into this album and I’m so grateful to all the great artists who have contributed their genius to the album!”

The album is her first major release in several years and follows numerous collaborations with artistes worldwide. Hope will be available globally through Warner Music International.
