Resident pastor of Faith Tabernacle, David Oyedepo Jnr and his wife Kemi Oyedepo, are celebrating 17 years of marriage.
The couple took to Instagram on Saturday to mark their wedding anniversary with messages of love and gratitude, reflecting on their journey together and God’s faithfulness.
David, who is the first son of Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel), described his marriage as a testimony and thanked God for bringing Kemi into his life.
“Thanking God for 17 beautiful years of marriage! What a journey! What a testimony! What a family!” he wrote.
“I celebrate you and thank God for bringing you my way 23 years ago! I am grateful for all He has made you to be. There is no better choice I could have ever made in marital life than you.”
He ended his message with a prayer and declaration of love, “May the years ahead be sweeter than the ones behind in Jesus’ Name. Amen! I love you presently and eternally.”
Kemi, a certified family life coach and founder of Crisis-Proof Your Family, also posted an emotional tribute to her husband, calling him a man of honour and peace.
“SEVENTEEN YEARS LATER! Marriage has been GOOD TO ME!!!” she wrote.
“Man of honor, PDO. A man of PEACE! I salute you.”
She went on to praise his humility, something she said first attracted her to him over two decades ago.
“The very first thing that drew me to you 23 years ago was your humility and to this day, it remains one of your most admirable qualities. No wonder God continues to honor you. I am SO grateful for your life.”
“Please be assured that you have my highest regard and deepest respect. I love you DEEPLY,” she added.
David and Kemi Oyedepo got married in July 2007 and have two children, a son and a daughter.
Over the years, their marriage has been held up as a model within the Winners’ Chapel community, especially among young couples.
They are both actively involved in family life ministry, sharing teachings and resources aimed at strengthening marriages and Christian homes.
