Clem Ohameze makes first public appearance years after spinal surgery

Actor Clem Ohameze has stirred excitement among fans after making his first public appearance in years, following a prolonged battle with a serious medical condition.

The 59-year-old, famous for his roles in early 2000s Nigerian films, had been out of the spotlight after suffering a debilitating accident that led to a spinal cord injury.

In 2022, Ohameze underwent a delicate spinal surgery, which left him bedridden and dependent on intensive medical care.

His reappearance on TikTok, where he was seen interacting with fans, has sparked joy across social media.

In the video, the actor appeared in high spirits, though his neck was supported with a medical brace—an indication that he is still recovering.

Supportive comments have poured in from admirers, many of whom grew up watching his iconic performances.

One user wrote, “His colleagues won’t say pim! Or solidify him with support. But if anything else happens, God forbid, you will see eulogy everywhere.”

Another added, “His healing is permanent in Jesus name 🙏

“God please preserve this men, cux they made our childhood 🤲😢,” a fan commented.

A humorous but affectionate remark read, “Thank God 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 what came to my mind 1st was reward of all the children and friends he killed in movie’s for ritual.. 😂😂😂 abeg don’t come 4 me. I love him so much.”

In 2021, Ohameze had shared a video asking for prayers as he prepared for surgery.

The procedure, according to him, was necessary to correct complications caused by the accident. He expressed gratitude to Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, who donated N8 million to support his treatment.
