Actor Zubby Michael has reacted to the attack on Angwan Rukuba, a community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Zubby shared his reaction on Instagram on Monday, urging Christians in the state to relocate in order to safeguard their lives. He advised them to leave the state to avoid being victims of possible future attacks.
”Christians should leave Jos,” he wrote.
His post stirred mixed reactions from users. Some said relocating from one’s home is not as easy as it sounds and that people should not be forced to abandon their communities.
The reaction follows a deadly attack on Sunday night in Jos North, where gunmen invaded the Angwan Rukuba area and opened fire on residents. Many people were killed, while several others were injured.
Security operatives were deployed to the area after the incident. The Plateau State Government also imposed a curfew to prevent further violence.
