Actress Chizzy Alichi has teased fans with a hilarious video in which she pretended to reveal her baby’s face for the first time since giving birth.
The 31-year-old, who welcomed her baby boy earlier this year, shared the video on Instagram, building up anticipation before unveiling what turned out to be her husband’s face instead.
In the video, Chizzy said:
“Hey guys, I know that most of you, if not all of you, want to see the face of the cute boy that I gave birth to. You want to know if he is fair or dark, if he looks like his father or mother. Well, worry no more because I am here to show you the face of the cute boy that I gave birth to.
My baby’s face reveal, who does he look like? Be honest because I’m sure he definitely looks like…”
She then flipped the camera to show her husband, Chike Ugochukwu Mbah, wrapped in a baby shawl.
The stunt sent social media into a frenzy, with fans and colleagues flooding her comment section.
Actress Nicole Banna commented, “I knew it.”
Mary Igwe wrote, “Chizzy, you no well.”
Queeneth Hilbert added, “Knew you weren’t revealing anything, sis.”
A fan reacted, “I didn’t see that coming.”
Another Instagram user simply said, “You just play too much.”
Although Chizzy has not yet shared her son’s actual face, she has spoken openly about the challenges she faced during her pregnancy.
In an earlier Instagram post, she revealed she was placed on prolonged bed rest due to a medical condition and relied heavily on prayer.
She also shared a video montage showing how her Nollywood colleagues Patience Ozokwor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Mercy Johnson, Empress Njamah, Nancy Isime and others reacted with joy and surprise to the news of her pregnancy.
Captioning the video, Chizzy wrote:
“Here’s how some of my faves reacted to my pregnancy when I called them. Very sweet and emotional moment for me. I love y’all and Master Kenechukwu is waiting for you to come and carry him.”
Chizzy Alichi and her husband got married in December 2019.
The couple announced the arrival of their first child in May.
