Actress Chizzy Alichi has marked her first birthday as a mother with a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing gratitude and prayers for twins in the future.
In her post on Tuesday, Chizzy wrote:
“This is my best birthday. My first birthday as a mother. Mummy Kene/mama Kene, however you want to call it. God you did that and I’m so grateful and it shall be permanent in my life because you are adding Twins to us soon, from my mouth to God’s ears, Amennnnnnnnnnnnn.”
She also praised her family, saying:
“Truly those that put their trust in God can NEVER be put to shame. God gave me a great husband, a perfect son and an amazing home, what more can I ask for.”
According to the actress, she initially planned to spend the day quietly with her husband and son, enjoying food and rest, but decided to do a last-minute photoshoot to share her joy with her online followers. She encouraged mothers trying to conceive, writing:
“Finally, all the TTC mothers in the house, by this time next year, you will be celebrating like me. If you believe leave a very big AMEN in the comment section.”
Chizzy welcomed her first child, Kenechukwu, after several years of marriage. The couple married in December 2020, and she publicly shared her pregnancy after about five years. Her son was born prematurely at 30 weeks and spent 25 days in the NICU before coming home, an experience she described as challenging but strengthened by faith and family support.
