Muyiwa Ademola was born on January 26, 1971, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He studied Education at the University of Ibadan and began his acting career in the early 1990s before moving into film production and directing. He gained wider recognition with the film Ori, which won Best Indigenous Film at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2005.
Over the years, Ademola has spoken openly about his humble background and the challenges he faced before achieving stability in the industry. He is married to Omolara Ademola, and they have five children.
