Content creator and streamer Carter Efe is facing renewed scrutiny after evidence of alleged physical abuse toward his baby mama, Emmanuella, surfaced online.
Screenshots of WhatsApp chats and a video clip have drawn strong reactions from social media users.
A friend of Emmanuella, Mss_Mona1, shared messages claiming Carter Efe physically abused her and forced her out of their home with their baby shortly after childbirth. She said Emmanuella “has been suffering in the hands of Carter Efe” and that she and her sister had to care for the child for months.
Social media critic VeryDarkMan also posted a video showing Emmanuella with a swollen face. The clip has been widely shared as evidence supporting previous claims made in 2024.
Carter Efe on Sunday confirmed the end of his relationship with Emmanuella, saying they had been separated for more than a year and that the split had affected his mental health and career. Emmanuella responded, expressing surprise at some of his claims and describing the public airing of their private matters as hurtful. She also said she was discouraged from pursuing her education and career during the relationship.
Neither Carter Efe nor his representatives have commented on the latest posts showing alleged abuse.
The controversy has sparked debate online, with supporters defending Emmanuella and others questioning the claims’ authenticity. Discussions continue on Instagram, TikTok, and X.
Carter Efe rose to prominence as a comedian, musician, and streamer. In December 2025, he became one of Africa’s most-followed Twitch streamers after a livestream featuring Davido drew widespread attention.
