Afrobeats singer Burna Boy’s mother Bose Ogulu has shared rare photos of her husband Samuel Ogulu as they mark 35 years of marriage.

Bose on Tuesday posted throwback pictures from their wedding day alongside recent ones of them together on Instagram.

She captioned the post, “Thanking God for 35 years since we each said ‘I do’ & ‘Till death do us part’. Thanking God for the journey, the roller coaster ride & the joy of watching the 3 musketeers we have been appointed care takers of. Happy Anniversary to Us ❤️”

The post surprised many as Mr Ogulu is rarely seen in public with Bose, leading some to assume the couple had divorced.

Fans, however, trooped to the comment section to celebrate the couple.

One wrote, “Omg, the resemblance between Burna & Papa Burna is uncanny! 😍 happy anniversary.”

Another shared, “Burna Boy is exactly like his dad.. All the face ❤️❤️.”

A fan added, “My favourite couple in the universe. They don’t make them any better than you both. Thank you for the example you set. LOVE YOU INFINITY 😘🥰🙌🏾.”

One more wrote, “Burna looks like a mixture of his younger mum and dad 🔥❤️.”

Bose, also known as Mama Burna, is a businesswoman and talent manager. She manages her son Burna Boy and daughter Nissi. She is also the daughter of veteran broadcaster and music critic Benson Idonije, who once managed Fela Kuti.

Samuel Ogulu, on the other hand, prefers to keep a low profile but has been a steady presence in the family. Together, the couple have three children, including Burna Boy who won a Grammy in 2021 with his album Twice as Tall.
