Burial prayers for Anthony Joshua’s friends Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele will be held on Sunday at 10 am in London.
The details were contained in programmes shared on Sunday.
The Janaza Prayer Service is scheduled to take place at the London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.
Ghami and Ayodele, who were close friends and members of Anthony Joshua’s team, died in a car crash in Ogun that also left the Nigerian-British heavyweight boxer injured.
They lost their lives when the vehicle they were travelling in with Joshua and the driver, Kayode Adeniyi, collided with a stationary truck on a major road near Lagos.
Joshua returned to the United Kingdom on Friday night following the crash, which led to his hospitalisation.
He is expected to attend the Janaza Prayer Service alongside his mother and other family members.
The boxer arrived at London Stansted Airport in a private jet and was taken to his residence, where he is continuing his recovery.
Ghami worked as Joshua’s full time sport and exercise rehabilitation coach for over 10 years.
He was part of Joshua’s preparations for several fights, including his title win against Wladimir Klitschko in 2017 and his recent bout against Jake Paul earlier this month.
Beyond his work with Joshua, Ghami also trained former Pittsburgh Steelers player Le’Veon Bell and Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green.
Hours before the crash, Joshua shared a video on Instagram showing him playing table tennis with Ayodele, who was also a personal trainer.
Joshua had travelled to Nigeria to spend the New Year with his family before the accident occurred.
