Actress Bukunmi Oluwasina has announced that she will be releasing her first book.
She shared the news on Instagram on Thursday alongside a video where she reflected on her long-standing interest in writing.
Bukola said, “Over the years, I’ve written countless scripts, poems, songs, as a matter of fact, I wrote my first script when I was in primary school.”
She also explained that people often tell her that her write ups feel personal to them, adding that “I remember having a conversation with someone and he said, ‘have you ever considered writing a book?’
“In 2025, something changed, I found the light, I felt ready and I can tell you for a fact that it is time. It is with absolute joy that I announce to you that I have finally written my first book. I cannot wait to share it with you”
She captioned the post, “To Be Unveiled on the 3rd Of March 2026. Let The Countdown Begin!!⏳⏱🗓💃🤸♂️YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ!!!🙂🧘🏾♀️🤞”
Bukunmi is known for her work as an actress, producer and screenwriter in Nollywood. She gained recognition after producing the film Ayomi, which earned nominations at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and won at the Best of Nollywood Awards. She has also featured in several films including Citation, Soole and Jagun Jagun, and is known for combining acting with writing and music in her career.
The book is expected to be unveiled on March 3, although further details about its title and content have not yet been announced.
