Omotola’s new film Mother’s Love marks her debut as a director and celebrates her 30 years in the Nigerian film industry. The drama stars Noray Nehita, Ifeanyi Kalu and Olumide Oworu, with Omotola in a lead role. It centres on family, class and a mother’s effort to protect her daughter’s future. The movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025 and was released in cinemas across Nigeria on March 6.
