Actor Bolanle Ninalowo has warned fans to beware of impersonators after a woman accused him of scamming her of $5,000 in a romance scheme.
The 45-year-old on Wednesday shared on Instagram a screenshot of an email from the woman who claimed she was deceived in his name.
The mail, addressed to “Nino B,” read: “Hey Scam Master. You crying about losing funds with Instagram because of my truthful comments of your romance scamming, you have left me no choice but to report you to every media outlets in Nigeria and America, and the 5000 dollars you scammed from me, is just enough for the FBI to consider it a felony, I have receipts for every dollar taken, and I have enough pictures, emails, screenshots and checks, not to mention the bank transactions, turning it all in this morning, to my attorney who specializes in international scams and fraud. King Daddy Nino, oh I mean Bolanle Ninalowo your 2+ years of romance scamming me is over!”
Reacting in his caption, the 44-year-old wrote: “So after this madam realizes she has been scammed, then she does her due diligence to find the REAL Bolanle Ninalowo’s IG & Email and ever since, na so so emails of threat & accusations! I really hope you & many others who fall victim to these impersonators WAKE UP 😥. Note: if anyone on this Gods own earth is in a current or about to initiate an online relationship with any one of the many supposed ME’s, YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED or are about to! So 🏃🏃🏃. Enough said 🛑 Maka 🦍.”
This is not the first time Ninalowo has cried out over impersonation. In March, the actor lamented having multiple fake TikTok accounts using his identity despite not owning one.
He wrote, “Dang! And I am not even on TikTok. How do I now open a REAL account? People dey para ooo!!!”
In 2019, he also warned fans after scammers allegedly created a fake passport and ATM card with his details. He further revealed that a woman once believed she was chatting with him and was blackmailed after sending nude photos.
