Actress Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, has lashed out at a social media user who asked if she once had an affair with skit maker Cute Abiola.
The troll had commented under one of her Instagram posts: “But wait o, you and Cute Abiola been dey knack that year Abi? New week na question o.”
Reacting in anger, Biodun reposted the comment on her Instagram story on Monday and cursed both the person and a blog she accused of spreading the rumour.
“As for you @eazeekodeworldwid, I don’t blame you. I blame the Olori buruku liar blogger who is hell bent on dragging my name through the mud with lies,” she wrote.
“May the God of justice expose and disgrace him or her publicly.”
She continued, “To that stup*d lie lie blog: You can deceive the world, but you can’t deceive God. Every false word you’ve typed to tarnish every single innocent soul will return to you in double measure.
“No matter how long you hide, the hand of God will unmask you. Whoever is behind that blog, may disgrace with the truth without mercy in Jesus’ name.
“You can’t keep lying to innocent people and expect peace. God will expose you. AMEN.”
Rumours about Biodun and Cute Abiola began circulating in 2023 after a blog claimed that the actress had a sexual relationship with the skit maker.
Biodun, a mother of two denied the allegations and cursed the blog behind the rumour in a video where she held a Bible and swore to her innocence.
The 45-year-old actress is known for her roles in Yoruba films and is also a skincare entrepreneur. In 2024, she made headlines after shutting down claims that she snatched her partner from actress Lola Idije’s daughter.
Cute Abiola, whose real name is Abdulgafar Abiola, is married to Kudirat Mosunmola. The couple welcomed their first child, a boy, in June 2023.
