Actress Bimpe Akintunde has announced the birth of her child with a post on Instagram.
The movie star shared maternity pictures of herself on Friday, expressing gratitude for the successful delivery.
She captioned the photos, “And the journey of 9 months ended in praise 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃 Alhamdulilai is my song 🎵.”
Congratulatory messages have since flooded her page, including one from fellow actor Jamiu Azeez who also posted some of her maternity pictures on his own Instagram page.
Celebrating the actress, Jamiu wrote: “A ti bi mo o 🕺🕺🕺🕺 Amoke mi, mo ba e yo @iambimpeakintunde this good news sweet my belle so much 🕺🕺🕺🕺 Congratulations my sister from another mother, welcome our princess ❤️❤️❤️❤️ you shall live to fulfill destiny Insha Allah 🙏🙏🙏.”
Bimpe Akintunde, also known as Wasila Coded, is popular for her roles in Yoruba films and her work as a producer and content creator. She has built a strong following through her movie roles.
In a spiritual Nikah (Nikai) ceremony held on June 25, 2023, Bimpe Akintunde married Yousuph O. Ganiu, a U.S.-based movie producer, becoming his third wife. She shared photos from the ceremony and expressed gratitude for the successful wedding and acceptance by her co-wives.
“This is the Lord’s doing… Meet Mr. and Mrs. Ganiu… Thank you to my darling husbby… Thanks to my co-wives for the love and acceptance,” she had said.
