Actress Bimbo Oshin has expressed pain over the absence of her husband, Ola Ibironke, popularly known as Dudu Heritage, four years after his death.
The 53-year-old shared a photo of him on Instagram on Friday, writing, “My husband, exactly this TIME four years ago you left us but the pain of your absence remains as raw as ever. Our children miss their father, their guiding light, and their Hero. I miss our laughter, our conversations and our life together. Your absence has left an unfillable void in our lives, but we’re trying to navigate this new reality together.
“The children grow stronger each day. Your love, guidance, and presence would mean the world to us right now. Though you’re gone, your memory lives on in our hearts. Ola Ibironke, a businessman and music promoter, slumped and died on September 12, 2021, while playing golf at the Ibadan Golf Club. He was later confirmed dead, prompting the club to suspend activities in his honour.
Bimbo Oshin and Dudu Heritage got married in 2005. Their union produced two children – a son, Michael Ibironke and a daughter, Iyanuoluwa Ibironke.
The actress has since spoken about the strength of her children as they continue to cope with the reality of losing their father.
