Former Big Brother Naija housemate Angel Smith turned 26 on Friday, sharing photos of herself in a red outfit along with a heartfelt Instagram message.
In her post on Instagram on Friday, Angel wrote:
“26, there is barely anything poetic to say when life has been good, I guess that in itself is poetic, to be in such a great space that words fail you, which is unlike me, I have always been able to say everything, I will say this though, Dear God, I hand this new age over to you, if I am hanging on by a thread this year, May it be the hem of your garment.”
Angel first gained public attention as the first female housemate revealed for the BBNaija Season 6 Shine Ya Eye edition in 2021, where she finished among the finalists. Since leaving the show, she has grown her presence as a content creator, poet, and social media personality.
She has also been active in creative projects including podcasting and storytelling, and has built a loyal following through her reflections on life and personal growth. Angel was previously in a relationship with fellow reality star Somadina Anyama, known as Soma, with whom she shared moments on social media.
