Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Kola has stirred conversations after he was seen in a late-night intimate moment with fellow housemate Dede.
In a clip shared online, Kola leaned in to give Dede a soft kiss on the lips before pulling her into a cuddle. The moment triggered immediate reactions from fans and fellow housemates, with some teasing the duo and others wondering if a new relationship was forming in the house.
But the kiss comes only weeks after Kola vowed to slow things down with Dede, stressing that he did not want his situation to turn out like that of former housemates Ozo and Nengi in the 2020 Lockdown edition.
Speaking with housemate Sabrina after a therapy session with the in-house therapist Ibifubara, Kola said,
“She is giving mixed signals. I hope my team change the narrative of this Ozo and Nengi thing. I will do same when I come out.”
In another chat during his diary session, he told Biggie that he was intentionally stepping back from the chase to protect his emotions.
“I don’t want to be another Ozo,” he added.
The Ozo–Nengi storyline from 2020 had sparked debates among fans after Ozo pursued Nengi despite her insistence on keeping things platonic. Many have since used it as a reference point for unrequited relationships in the show.
Reactions to Kola’s new intimate moment with Dede have, however, been divided. While some fans believe he is falling back into the same cycle he earlier rejected, others say Dede may finally be warming up to him.
