Big Brother Naija season 10 housemate Sultana Auduson, simply known as Sultana, has revealed that she was forced into marriage as a teenager.
During Monday’s live show, Sultana told fellow housemate Jason Jae, “I was married off really young, as a child.”
When Jason asked how old she was, Sultana replied, “I was about 15.”
“Was it something I wanted? No, but it happened. And the thing is, my stubbornness got me out of it,” she added.
Explaining how she expressed her freedom, Sultana said, “I was already growing, and because I like piercings, tattoos… I haven’t even gotten the kind of tattoo I want, because I dey think of my mama.”
The Kaduna-born housemate is a mother of two daughters, Aaliyah and Lianora. She once described them as “my world. I love them so much and cherish them with all my heart.”
Sultana briefly held the Head of House title in the ongoing show before being replaced by fellow contestant Faith.
