Reality TV star turned actress Bamike Adenibuyan, better known as Bambam, has opened up about how she manages romantic scenes in movies.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate spoke on the Echo Room podcast hosted by her husband, Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A.
Referring to her role in Love in Every Word, Bambam said, “That’s not my first romantic movie. If people go check my other movies, they will see that I generally have great chemistry with my co-stars. Even if there are no kissing scenes, you would believe that these people are really married or really dating. It is just my style of acting. And once they say cut, and I take my costume off, I wear my clothes, get into my car, I become Bamike Adenibuyan, and I come home to my husband.”
Bambam played Chioma in Love in Every Word, a woman who walks away from a financially burdensome relationship and finds herself involved with a wealthy businessman. Her performance alongside Uzor Arukwe drew praise from viewers for their convincing on-screen chemistry.
She tied the knot with Teddy A in 2019 and they have two children together.
