Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has tested negative for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The governor confirmed his health status via tweets on Thursday.
He said: “…I just received the green light. My second test for #COVID19 returned negative. I thank you all for your prayers & support even while I was in isolation…”
Mr Mohammed thanked religious leaders within and outside the state for their prayers, and also the state’s COVID-19 team and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The governor’s recovery comes two weeks after he confirmed he tested positive for COVID-19.
