National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Nentawe Yilwatda has called on Nigerians to reflect on the message of Easter and pray for the country.

Chairman Yilwatda made the call in a statement issued on Sunday.

He said Easter marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and called on Christians to reflect on its meaning.

“Easter teaches us that sacrifice is the pathway to glory… and that with faith in God, hope can rise again even in difficult times,” he said.

He said the message of Easter relates to the situation in the country and urged citizens to remain committed to unity and service.

Yilwatda also spoke on security challenges in parts of the country and expressed sympathy with affected families.

He called for cooperation among citizens and institutions to address the situation.

“At a time like this, we must not allow fear or division to define us as a people,” he said.

He urged Nigerians to support efforts aimed at restoring peace and order.

Yilwatda also called for prayers for the country, its leaders and security personnel.

“This is a time for prayer and reflection… we must also pray for the renewal of our nation,” he said.

He expressed support for the efforts of the administration of President Bola Tinubu in addressing security issues.

He urged continued cooperation among government, security agencies and citizens.

Yilwatda wished Christians a peaceful Easter and called on Nigerians to remain committed to national unity.
