APC chairman Yilwatda appoints special advisers, aides

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Nentawe Yilwatda has approved the appointment of special advisers, advisers and senior special assistants to strengthen the party’s administrative and strategic capacity.

A statement issued on Tuesday by the Chief of Staff to the APC National Chairman, Mustapha Dawaki, said the appointments are part of ongoing efforts to enhance coordination, policy formulation and stakeholder engagement at the party’s national secretariat.

Mr Dawaki said, “The newly appointed aides are expected to bring their wealth of experience and professionalism to bear in supporting the National Chairman in the discharge of his duties.”

The appointees include three special advisers, four advisers and eight senior special assistants.

Those appointed as special advisers are Senator Danladi Sankara on political matters, Daniel Oritsegbubemi on National Assembly matters and Sorochi Longdet on research, strategy and planning.

The advisers are Jibrin Surajo on community engagement, Paul Domsing on special duties, Suleiman Bukari on intelligence coordination and Taiwo Balofin as honorary adviser on diaspora coordination and mobilisation.

The senior special assistants are Imran Muhammad on new media, Mildred Bako on civil society organisations, Yusuf Dingyadi on media, Mrs. Enenedu Idusuyi on protocol, Ismaila Mohammed on conflict management, Zarah Onyinye on media and public relations, Adaku Apugo on inter governmental relations and Obinta Chinenye on youth mobilisation.

Earlier, Mr. Abimbola Tooki was announced as Special Adviser to the APC National Chairman on media and communication strategy.

The APC chairman congratulated the appointees and urged them to show dedication, loyalty and commitment to the ideals and objectives of the party.

All appointments take immediate effect.
