Music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has marked his mother Rose Idibia’s 70th birthday with a party, but the absence of his estranged wife Annie Idibia’s daughters drew attention online.
The event, which held on Friday, was attended by family members and close friends. The hall was decorated, with 2Baba performing for his mother as she joyfully sang along.
Despite the joyful atmosphere, some observers questioned why Annie’s daughters with 2Baba did not feature in the celebrations. Neither Annie nor 2Baba has addressed the matter publicly.
2Baba and Annie separated earlier this year after years of public scrutiny over their marriage. Months later, the singer proposed to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, a move that stirred mixed reactions from fans and colleagues.
