Actress Anita Joseph has reacted to the emotional claims made by the alleged ex‑girlfriend of singer Segun Johnson, identified as Debrakin, following their reported breakup.
Debrakin shared her story online, saying her relationship with Segun lasted about 13 years. She said she spoke out for closure and described the experience as painful and unexpected.
“I don’t want sympathy, I am in my healing journey,” she said.
She claimed she made major life decisions for the relationship. Segun allegedly asked her to return to Nigeria from the United Kingdom, prompting her to resign from her job abroad. She said things changed shortly after her return, discovering he was involved with another woman. She also claimed the relationship ended abruptly through a voice note rather than a face‑to‑face conversation.
Reacting, Anita Joseph posted on social media: “13 years aramashiogri mpu na aruruala. Play me do not Forsake Me by Anita Joseph on Audiomack or Spotify biko. Uwa Bu Uwa Chukwu Shallom.”
Segun has not publicly responded, although a close associate disputed parts of the claims, saying the full story is different.
