Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, and Afrobeats star Davido have shared a heartwarming moment that has captured the attention of fans online.
In a video that quickly gained traction on social media on Thursday, Davido was seen walking towards his car when he noticed Governor Otti nearby.
The 32-year-old turned around, walked over and embraced the governor, who returned the gesture.
He was spotted removing his cap and bending down to show his respects to Mr Otti.
Both men spoke for a short while before Davido returned to his car.
Davido had previously performed at Otti’s inauguration celebration in 2023, a gesture he later revealed was done without accepting any payment.
“Not a dime. I’ve known Excellency all my life,” Davido tweeted after the event.
“And I’m sure he will do well for the people of Abia State.”
The video has gone viral, with fans praising the duo.
