Alaafin of Oyo Oba Abimbola Owoade and his wife, Olori Abiwumi Owoade, on Thursday attended the traditional wedding of Brenda Adeleke, daughter of late Isiaka Adeleke, in Lagos.
The ceremony was held at The Hall Event Centre, Victoria Island.
It was attended by members of the Adeleke family, including Osun State governor Ademola Adeleke, businessman Adedeji Adeleke, singer Davido and the governor’s daughter, Nike Adeleke, popularly known as Nikos Living.
Brenda is the daughter of the late Isiaka Adeleke, Osun State’s first executive governor.
He served from January 1992 to November 1993 under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and later represented Osun West in the Senate from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2015 until his death in April 2017.
Isiaka Adeleke was the elder brother of governor Ademola Adeleke and businessman Adedeji Adeleke, father of music star Davido.
Before joining politics, he held positions in the private sector, including serving as a director at Pacific Holdings Limited.
