President of African Development Bank (AfDB) Akinwumi Adesina has wished the Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama a “speedy recovery” from the coronavirus (COVID-19).
In a tweet on Monday, Mr Adesina who is seeking a second term in office urged Mr Onyeama to be “strong”.
“I wish my dear brother @GeoffreyOnyeama Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, a speedy recovery from COVID19. Be strong and of good courage. God will keep you. With warmest personal wishes 💕,” he wrote.
Mr Onyeama had announced his COVID-19 status on Sunday, adding that he was heading to an undisclosed health facility for isolation.
