The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has celebrated actress Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as Mama G, on her birthday.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, the guild shared a photo of the screen legend with the caption:

Patience Ozokwo, who turned 67 today, was born on September 14, 1958, in Ngwo, Enugu State.
The actress, famed for her roles as a tough mother or mother-in-law, has starred in over 100 movies including Authority, Old School and Ukwa.
She won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2012 and 2013 and in 2014 she was named among the top 100 Nigerians honoured during the centenary celebration of the country’s amalgamation.
In 2023, Ozokwo received the Industry Merit Award at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
