Actress Adunni Ade has vowed to expose a colleague who allegedly supplied false information about her to blogger Cutie Julls after winning her court case over a false publication linking her to former senator Dino Melaye.

The 49-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate her victory against Polace Media Limited, which published a report alleging she was romantically involved with the politician.

Sharing screenshots of the court judgment, Adunni wrote: “I won my case – Adunni Ade vs. Polace Media Limited (www.naijanews.com). A false story was published about me, but truth stood tall. This judgment reaffirms that privacy matters – and so does integrity. Justice delayed isn’t justice denied.”

She thanked her lawyer Olumide Babalola for his efforts and warned those avoiding court summons to “stand still so you can be served.”

Adunni also accused a colleague of being behind a false story given to Cutie Julls. “And to you my fellow actress who told a false story to the Cutie Julls, don’t worry, very soon the world will know the kind of snake you are. Envy, bitterness lives and breathes in you,” she wrote.

According to the judgment, Adunni filed her case on July 3, 2024, arguing that the story titled “Six Popular Nigerian Celebrities Who Have Been Accused of Dating Dino Melaye” violated her right to privacy.

Justice Ibironke Harrison ruled that the publication was false, unfair and damaging to her reputation, awarding her N20 million in general damages and ordering them to delete her name and photo from the story.

Adunni revealed she has already won two cases, adding, “A few more to go.”

Dino Melaye has not commented on the ruling.
