Actress Adesua Etomi is leading the voice cast of the upcoming animated science fiction series Secrets of the Multiverse.

The story follows two children who accidentally enter a multiverse and must face challenges that test their courage and morality.

Hot Ticket Productions confirmed that Adesua will voice Iyabo, one of the central characters, while Jessica Edwards, known for Lady Buckit & the Motley Mopsters, takes on dual roles as hero and villain. The series also features voice performances by Akorede Bobo, Korede Lawal, Fiyin Asenuga, Maryam Ibrahim Yarkasa and Emmanuella Amidu, who also wrote the screenplay.

Executive producer Blessing Amidu described the story as a mix of adventure and moral questions. “It’s a world of danger that challenges not just their survival, but their sense of morality,” she said. “The kids must stop an extinction‑level event from destroying everything they hold dear.”

The 13‑episode series is a spin‑off of Nigeria’s first cinematic animated feature, Lady Buckit & the Motley Mopsters, which won multiple international awards including Best Animated Feature at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Secrets of the Multiverse was written by Emmanuella Amidu, who began the screenplay as a teenager. She said she wrote it to stay connected to her Nigerian roots while studying abroad. “I wrote Secrets of the Multiverse to remind me of who I am back home, all the things I’ve experienced, all the things I’ve learned,” she said.

The series is co-directed by Adebisi Adetayo, director of Lady Buckit and Hollywood animation veteran Robert Sledge, combining local storytelling with global production standards. Production is ongoing, with the first part expected to debut on streaming platforms in 2026, and the second in early 2027.
