Actor Adeniyi Johnson has returned to the house where he once worked as a painter to shoot a movie.
The visit brought back emotions as he reflected on his journey from those early days to becoming a Nollywood actor.
Taking to Instagram in the early hours of Friday, Johnson shared a throwback photo showing himself and others holding painting tools. He wrote:
“I WENT TO SHOOT IN THE SAME HOUSE I WAS A PAINTER AND I COULD NOT CONTROL MY TEARS!!! I WAS THERE AS A SLAVE AND NOW AS A KING… EVERYONE WANTS A SELFIE!!!”
Pointing to himself in the old photo, he added:
“THE GREEN LINE IS POINTING AT ME!!! THAT WAS ME YEAR 2000/2001!! WHEN I WAS A PAINTER!!!”
He continued:
“THE STORY HAS CHANGED TODAY AND GOD IS GLORIFIED!! NA WHO GIVE UP FVCK UP O KEEP THE FAITH ALIVE!. GOD IS GOOD”
Johnson also thanked a friend who shared the picture with him, saying:
“Thanks to my friend who sent his on WhatsApp!! He is not on IG!!!”
Adeniyi Johnson is a Nigerian actor and film producer who has appeared in numerous Nollywood films and television series, including Tinsel and Blogger’s Wife.
He is married to actress Oluwaseyi Edun, and the couple have twins.
