Singer Adekunle Gold is set to release his first official collaboration with his former label boss Olamide, titled ‘Formation’.
The song is set for release on Thursday, April 9.
Adekunle shared the news on his social media page on Monday while posting a photo of both artistes.
He wrote, “First time ever, me and @olamide
Formation. April 9.

The track brings together the two musicians years after working under the same record label, YBNL Nation and reflects their continued relationship in the industry.
Adekunle signed to YBNL in March 2015 after gaining attention with his single Sade. He released songs like ‘Orente’ and his debut album Gold under the label.
His deal with the label was for about two years and expired in 2016, after which he exited the imprint in 2017.
Despite his departure, the singer has maintained a cordial relationship with Olamide, often acknowledging the role the rapper played in his career.
The upcoming collaboration is their first official track together since Adekunle left the label.
