General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has paid a courtesy visit to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade.
The monarch shared pictures from the visit on his Instagram Story on Tuesday.
The photos show Pastor Adeboye in the company of other clerics as they exchanged pleasantries with Oba Owoade and his wife.
In one of the pictures, the respected cleric is seen praying for the Alaafin while others bowed their heads in reverence.
Pastor Adeboye’s visit comes two months after Oba Owoade’s coronation as the Alaafin of Oyo.
Governor Seyi Makinde had approved his appointment on January.
He was presented with the staff of office and certificate on January 13, before his formal coronation on April 5.
Oba Owoade’s ascension marked a new chapter in the history of the ancient Oyo Kingdom following the death of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III in April 2022.
