Nigerian-American actress Yvonne Orji has shared a hilarious video of her fanning her private part in a Lagos market.
The 42-year-old, who said in a 2023 interview that she was a virgin at 39, posted the clip on Instagram on Wednesday night.
In the video, she wore a long brown gown and slightly lifted the front while using a portable fan underneath to cool herself from the heat.
She could be heard saying, “just another day in Lagos.”
Yvonne captioned the post, “That Africa Heat hit different 🤷🏾‍♀️
#JakandeMarket.”
Her post comes nearly three years after she said she was a virgin at 39.
The Insecure star made the revelation on the Dear Chelsea podcast with Chelsea Handler.
When Chelsea asked Yvonne if she is still a virgin, the actress said yes, adding that she is keeping her virginity for her future husband.
“Are you still a virgin?” Chelsea asked.
“I am,” the Abia State actress responded.
Yvonne also asked listeners to pray for her future husband because the wait has left her with a great deal of “pent-up energy.”
The actress, who is also a stand-up comedian, first revealed that she was a virgin in a 2017 interview with People.
She is best known for her role as Molly Carter in the HBO series Insecure, which ran from 2016 to 2021 and brought her wider recognition. Born in Port Harcourt, she moved to the United States as a child and later built a career in comedy before moving into acting. She has also spoken publicly about how her Christian faith influenced her decision to remain celibate until marriage.
The actress is currently not married.
