Popular Nollywood actor and director, Desmond Elliot, has emerged as the candidate to represent the All Progressives Congress (APC), Surulere constituency in the 2015 Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), election holding in 2015, after winning the party’s ticket on Tuesday.
He defeated another, Mr. Kabiru Lawal,in a keen contest on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, another celebrity, Kenny Saint Brown (KSB), who also contested in the primaries to represent Ikeja 01 constituency at LAHA, lost to Mr. Folajimi Mohammed, son of APC National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
Broadcaster and co-founder of popular Kennis Music, Dayo Adeneye, lost the ticket to represent Odgbolu Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly to a former aide of Governor Ibikunle Amosun on Education.
