The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was not set up to amuse Nigerians but the anti-graft agency has been posting some of the funniest Twitter messages this side of the blogosphere in recent weeks.
It started long before that classic response to the freezing of Nigerians’ Mavrodi Mondial Movement (MMM) accounts on Tuesday.
The identity of the EFCC social media handlers remain a closely guided secret but we are guessing Osita Nwajah, its director of public affairs and a CNN Journalist of the year award winner, and Wilson Uwujaren, its spokesman and former editor with Tempo magazine, have something to do with it.
